Excuse me, U of C student president. You are frustrated with the response and students say they are “traumatized” by the actions of the Calgary police? When the university leadership state they are not going to entertain your childish demands to disenfranchise all dealings with Israel. Grow up. You and your pro-Palestinian supporters apparently know nothing about the history of Israel. I am proud of how the university leadership provided direction and the Calgary Police Service made it happen.

No more haters

Trudeau cannot be allowed to bring in any more people from anywhere in the world unless they can be vetted totally by Immigration Canada. I know that our country needs new people, but we do not need those who hate our way of living or hate the previous immigrants who have made Canada their peaceful home.

Who’s the boss?

So the unions are upset because they have to go back to work in the office three days a week. I have a solution: fire anyone who refuses and replace them with non-union workers. There are millions who would love to work for the government with the pay and benefits and gladly show up at the office for three days a week. Who’s the boss here? The government or the employees? Working from home isn’t a benefit, it was a luxury, and now it’s time to go to work as you were hired to do. If not for COVID, this would be a non-issue. They complain they will have to start finding ways to get to work and daycare, etc. Well, welcome to the real world like the rest of us. Unbelievable.

Ongoing tragedy

The world continues to stand idly by as tens of thousands of innocent lives are viciously targeted and slaughtered. As an Ahmadi Muslim, I feel obligated to categorically condemn any injustice against mankind, whether an attack by Hamas claiming the lives of hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians, or the indiscriminate attacks by Israel claiming tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians. Ultimately, no human has less right to live than another based on their colour, creed or ethnicity.

OSAMA SOBHI

(Any way you look at it, this is devastating.)
