If you’ve been around Calgary, you may have noticed that some neighbourhoods are a little more ritzy than others, and new data has revealed the most expensive ones to buy real estate in and call home.
According to data provided to Daily Hive by Wahi, the online real estate platform rounded up the 10 most expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary across all property types from the first three quarters of this year, from January to September.
Looking at where the big bucks live, eight out of the top 10 were all in YYC’s southwest quadrant, with the outliers being the communities of Rosedale and University Heights in the northwest.
The top 10 most expensive neighbourhoods from January to September 2024, excluding anything fewer than five sales, were as follows:
- #10. University Heights, with a median sold price of $1,122,500
- #9. Pump Hill, with a median sold price of $1,125,000
- #8. Elboya, with a median sold price of $1,200,000
- #7. Rosedale, with a median sold price of $1,202,500
- #6. Bayview, with a median sold price of $1,387,500
- #5. Mayfair, with a median sold price of $1,650,000
