Calgary has an exceptional restaurant scene, and even major celebrities seem to agree.
The latest sighting? Legendary Canadian chef and star of the smash FX show The Bear, Matty Matheson, who paid a visit to Charcut over the weekend.
While at the restaurant, Matheson stopped to snap a photo with staff, including owners Connie DeSousa and John Jackson
“One of @mattymatheson many superpowers is making people laugh by just being his authentic self… he is one of a kind,” Jackson said in an Instagram post.
“We are all cheering for you and enjoy watching you achieve all your successes.”
Matheson was in town as part of the North American tour for his latest cookbook, Soup, Salads, Sandwiches.
Calgarians were clearly thrilled to see Matheson in YYC, as tickets for his talk at Bella Concert Hall on November 16 sold out in less than 24 hours.
Hopefully, it won’t be too long before we see Matheson back in the city once again.
