According to the gas price forecasting site Gas Wizard, drivers in Alberta’s major cities can expect a little bit of relief today as fuel prices are projected to decrease.
On Wednesday, December 4, regular gas prices in Edmonton are set to drop by two cents, bringing the cost down to $1.30 per litre.
Premium gas will also see a similar reduction, dipping two cents to $1.58 per litre.
Diesel prices in YEG are also expected to decline slightly, with a two-cent decrease bringing the price to $1.48 per litre.
Meanwhile, in Calgary, regular gas is forecast to drop by just one cent, bringing the new price to $1.39 per litre on Wednesday.
Premium fuel in Calgary is also expected to see a one-cent drop to $1.69 per litre.
For diesel users in Calgary, prices are anticipated to fall by one cent, bringing the cost down to $1.54 per litre, according to Gas Wizard.
