Good news for drivers in Alberta: after gas prices were projected to take a dip late last week, it appears another price decrease is on the horizon.
According to the gas forecasting site Gas Wizard, the price of gasoline will fall in both Calgary and Edmonton on Wednesday, January 29.
In Calgary, the cost of regular gas is set to drop by two cents, bringing it down to $1.40 per litre.
Premium gas will see a similar reduction in price, dipping two cents to $1.67 per litre.
As for the price of diesel in YYC, prices are also expected to fall two cents, down to $1.64 per litre.
Meanwhile, in Edmonton, the price of regular gas is also forecast to drop by two cents on Wednesday, bringing the new price to $1.33 per litre. Similarly, premium gas will dip by two cents in YEG to $1.59 per litre.
Diesel prices are also expected to dip by two cents, down to $1.33 per litre.
So, if you’ve been delaying a trip to the gas station, try to delay just a little bit longer. Your bank account will surely appreciate the extra money you save at the pumps!
