One of the biggest events of the year on the WWE calendar is taking place in Canada this weekend.
The Survivor Series is coming to Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver and is one of the hottest tickets in town.
Most people will watch from the comfort of their own homes, but unlike most other sporting events, you won’t find it on TSN or Sportsnet.
Like all major WWE events, it’ll be broadcast on the WWE Network, a channel which can be ordered through most major providers. The event officially kicks off at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT.
If you don’t have WWE Network, the standalone pay-per-view is $54.99, which can be ordered through your remote on most cable providers.
For those without a cable subscription, a $14.99 per month Sportsnet+ WWE-specific subscription will allow you to watch tomorrow’s broadcast on your computer or other devices with the Sportsnet app. This is probably the easiest and most cost-effective method if you have an internet connection capable of streaming the broadcast.
It should be noted that a subscription through Sportsnet or your provider probably won’t be long-lasting. Beginning in January 2025, Netflix will be the exclusive home of all WWE content in Canada and the new home of Monday Night Raw in the United States.
“This deal is transformative,” said Mark Shapiro, TKO president and COO, in the release. “It marries the can’t-miss WWE product with Netflix’s extraordinary global reach and locks in significant and predictable economics for many years. Our partnership fundamentally alters and strengthens the media landscape, dramatically expands the reach of WWE, and brings weekly live appointment viewing to Netflix.”
In any case, if you’re a first-time subscriber looking to tune into tomorrow’s big show, make sure you know what you’re signing up for.
