How to watch tonight’s Calgary Flames game that’s not on Sportsnet

Fighting for their playoff lives, the Calgary Flames will look to prove themselves tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks, who currently sit at the very bottom of the NHL standings.

With a 7:30 pm ET/5:30 pm PT puck drop for the Monday contest, those interested in watching should ensure they’ve found a quick route home to be ready for the start of the game.

But if you’re looking to catch the match on Sportsnet tonight, you’ll be out of luck, as the game will not be available on traditional television networks.

How can you watch the Calgary Flames tonight?

Today’s game is exclusively available in English in Canada through Prime Video’s Monday Night Hockey streaming-only service, a new broadcast launched by the NHL this season.

Prime’s Monday Night Hockey content is available to anyone in Alberta and the rest of Canada with an internet connection and an Amazon Prime account. Prime members will receive the games at no extra cost, while subscriptions are $9.99 per month or $99 annually.

The good news is that most major devices can access the Prime Video app as long as they have a stable internet connection, with a full list of available devices here.

The Flames return to Monday Night Hockey on Prime on March 17, when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on the road, and again on March 31, when they take on the Colorado Avalanche in Denver. The Leafs contest carries a puck drop of 5:30 pm PT, while the Avalanche’s start time will be 6:30 pm PT.
