TaylorMania has been sweeping the nation.
As the presenting sponsor of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Canada, Rogers has been fanning the flames of the world’s hottest musical phenomenon with ticket giveaways for customers and fans, and by giving back to the community in exciting and creative ways.
Are you ready for it?
From August to the end of November, Rogers gave away 35 pairs of tickets every week to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Toronto and Vancouver to fans and customers through a national contest.
The result? Delighted Swifties who get to see the concert of a lifetime.
Surprises and delights
Thanks to Rogers, one such Swiftie that got to head to the show was Cali Aldaba from Coquitlam — a kind, generous, and happy 14-year-old born with Williams Syndrome, a rare medical condition causing developmental delays and impacting some fine motor skills.
Her mother Lisi says Taylor’s music and influence helped her daughter become more confident and outgoing including being active with the Special Olympics.
Another lucky winner, Kelsey Carignan, a Vancouver mom, yoga instructor, and devoted Swiftie, had the chance to create an unforgettable memory at the show with her family.
Living with stage four breast cancer, Kelsey has inspired her community through her resilience and acts of kindness, mentoring cancer patients, and organizing annual toy drives. For Kelsey, Taylor’s music and message of strength and compassion hold deep meaning, inspiring her to continue creating a ripple effect of kindness in her community.
Canucks for Kids Fund
Rogers also donated hundreds of tickets to charities including Canucks for Kids Fund, which benefits children and families by focusing on health and wellness, social development, education, and more.
A select group of deserving young fans and their families were surprised with tickets to the highly anticipated Vancouver concert. These youths have shown determination, embraced a positive attitude, and found resolve through Taylor Swift’s music.
Some of the core beneficiaries include Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, Canucks Autism Network, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Trivia time
Swifties who held onto hope were rewarded on December 5, right before the first Vancouver show, when OMNI TV VJ Rhea Santos took to the streets and hosted trivia in four locations near the Rogers Tower, Vancouver Art Gallery, Granville & Robson and at a Mobi station at Carrall & Seawall (while donned in iconic red sparkles, of course).
Fans who correctly answered the questions got free tickets to the show.
Transiting in style
Along with eye-grabbing ads around the city, Rogers sponsored TransLink West Coast Express on December 7 to get fans to and from the concert and partnered with Mobi to offer discounted bike passes during the concert dates.
A musical event as prolific as Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour is a rare thing to come by, and thanks to Rogers, Swifties are seeing their Wildest Dreams come true. See more winner stories by following @Rogers on Instagram and Facebook.
