A popular Calgary spot for breakfast sandwiches has announced it will sadly be closing its doors at one of its locations this week.
Bro’s To Go, a concept from the team behind the brunch staple The Bro’Kin Yolk, revealed it will be closing its location at The Fifth on January 29 after almost three years.
“It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of our Bro’s To Go Fifth location,” the eatery posted on Instagram.
“This decision was not made lightly, as our Fifth location has been the backdrop to so many cherished moments with our incredible customers,” it added.
Bro’s To Go was first opened in Northland in 2021 by brothers Gil and Jeffrey Carlos to bridge the gap between high-quality food and quick service. The concept expanded to its second location at The Fifth in 2022.
The spot offers a huge selection of deliciously stacked breakfast sandwiches, featuring everything from braised short ribs, house-cured bacon, house-made longanisa pork patties, and more.
While the news will be sad to many living in the area, Bro’s To Go’s tasty handhelds will still be available at its Northland outpost.
“While this chapter is closing, we’re excited to continue serving you at our other location in Northland, where we’ll keep the same great food and experiences you’ve come to love,” it added.
