Cineplex is hiring movie lovers and there are several job openings across Canada

There are almost 100 full-time and part-time jobs available across Canada right now. The roles available range from front-of-house to back-of-house positions, such as supervisors, cashiers, general managers, and cast members.

Location: Cineplex VIP Cinemas Brentwood, Burnaby, BC

Requirements: Excellent communication skills, ProServe certification, and legal age to serve alcohol.

Description: As a VIP part-time food and beverage staff member, you’ll ensure an excellent customer service experience. This role will require you to work in a fast-paced environment where you must work late on weekends and some weeknights.

Location: Cineplex Cinemas Seton and VIP, Calgary, Alberta

Requirements: Must be passionate about food and committed to providing exceptional food service.

Description: You’ll lead the kitchen operation, guiding kitchen staff and preparing food using standardized recipes and portion sizes. This role reports to the VIP back-of-house manager and general manager.

Location: Cineplex Odeon Grande Prairie Cinemas, Grande Prairie, Alberta

Requirements: Must have ProServe certification and be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Description: Part-time cast members have superior communication skills and work late on weekends and some weeknights. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent guest experience.

Location: Cineplex Cinemas Pickering and VIP, Pickering, Ontario

Requirements: Experience as kitchen staff and a superior understanding of food preparation are required. Extended periods standing, walking, bending, carrying and assisting with bartending tasks.

Description: You’ll ensure food quality standards are met by following plating specifications. You’ll help with service preparation by setting up and stocking stations with the necessary ingredients.

Location: Scotiabank Cinema Montreal, Montreal, Quebec

Requirements: Communication, management, and problem-solving skills. You must be aware of health, safety, and environmental laws that apply when operating a cinema. Food handling certification is an asset.

Description: As a manager, you’ll help lead a team of dedicated employees and manage the cinema’s budget while ensuring revenue growth.
