An Edmonton-based donut spot is gearing up to open its second Calgary location later this year.
Doughnut Party has been a staple for sweet treats in Edmonton since launching in 2017. Last year, the brand opened its first Calgary location in Inglewood, and now, it has revealed that another is on the way.
The beloved donut spot will open its new outpost in Marda Loop, right next to Sammie Cafe, and it’s slated to open in March.
“Construction on our newest location is underway and we couldn’t be happier to be in the neighbourhood,” Doughnut Party said in an Instagram post.
In addition to its signature artisanal donuts and hot coffee, the Marda Loop spot will be Doughnut Party’s first to offer espresso-based drinks.
Doughnut Party started as a homemade farmers’ market spot but has since branched out with three brick-and-mortar locations in Edmonton and one in YYC.
If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, Doughnut Party offers a rotating menu of fluffy donuts with classic and unique flavours, such as rainbow sprinkles, maple Long Jane, and more.
