Cold weather is something we have to deal with, but luckily, there are tons of things to do while staying warm in Calgary.
These are nine ways we plan on spending our days when the cold weather settles into YYC. Don’t let that chill get you down!

You can’t go wrong with a game night. There are tons of fun game-inspired bars across town to engage in a bit of competition while you escape the Calgary cold, from Rec Room to Activate. Plus, a new entertainment venue opened just last month. Have fun!
Go to a movie

Nothing beats cozying up in a movie theatre on a chilly winter day, munching on popcorn, and enjoying a good flick. It’s a perfect way to escape the cold winter days in Calgary, if you ask us!
Head up the Calgary Tower

Check out some amazing views of the city in the warmth and comfort of the Calgary Tower. They also have some dining options up there to keep you warm.
Try a trampoline park
Fun for all ages and full of zero gravitational chaos this is an awesome way to spend a chilly afternoon. There are cold drinks and fresh food made in-house, so you won’t go hungry. It also offers group bookings in case you want to head out with your friends, and neon light parties are available on Friday and Saturday nights.
