Woman in 20s seriously hurt after being struck by vehicle in SE Calgary

A woman has serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in southeast Calgary on Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Fairmount Drive and Flint Road SE around 2:45 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Calgary police say a woman in her 20s was struck by a vehicle and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver involved remained at the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

Police say Fairmount Drive remains closed between Flint Road SE and Farrell Road SE.
