A number of northwest Calgary residents were rudely awakened Friday morning when a suspected drunk driver collided with several parked vehicles along a residential road.
Calgary police tell CityNews just before 4 a.m. Friday, police were called to Hunterview Drive NW for reports of a collision.
When officers got there, they found a vehicle had smashed into six parked vehicles along the road.
The driver of the vehicle was left with minor injuries.
Investigators say there were two other people in the vehicle who left the scene before police got there.
Alcohol is being considered as a factor in this incident, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
