An apparent early morning stabbing in northeast Calgary Friday is believed to be connected to an incident in the southeast where blood was found, police say.
Officers say they arrived just after 6 a.m. in the Falconridge area at the 0-100 block of Falsby Place on reports of a man suffering from “what appeared to be stab wounds.”
He was taken to hospital in stable condition
However, shortly after, police were called to a home at the 2000 block of 44 Street SE, for reports of large amounts of blood found.
No victim was found, but investigators believe both scenes are connected and are still on the scene.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
