RCMP are warning of poor road conditions north of Calgary Wednesday due to cold and snowy weather.
Innisfail RCMP say Highway 2 north of Innisfail to south of Bowden is seeing less-than-ideal conditions.
The roads are covered in ice and snow, which police say has resulted in multiple collisions and vehicles driving off the road.
No injuries have been reported so far, according to RCMP.
Police are reminding the public to slow down and drive to current road conditions.
It is also possible drivers will see delays on northbound and southbound Highway 2, and any other area affected by this weather.
RCMP add conditions are poor across Alberta, with many roads and highways reportedly covered in ice and/or snow, with the most recent reports at Highway 44 and 37 in the Westlock area.
If possible, drivers are advised to avoid travel in the area or use different routes.
