Police searching for 2 missing boys last seen in SE Calgary

Police are asking for help trying to find two missing boys last seen in southeast Calgary Tuesday morning.

Calgary Police Service (CPS) says 10-year-old Steve and 5-year-old Evan were reported missing from a home in the 300 block of Copperfield Garden SE, near 52 Street SE and Copperfield Gate SE, around 6:30 a.m.

The pair were last seen getting off a bus in the area of 52 Street SE and 8 Avenue SE around 7:45 a.m.

Evan is described as having a medium build with brown eyes and dark, chin-length hair. He was last seen wearing green pants, a red T-shirt and a blue baseball cap.

Steve is described as having a medium build with brown eyes and dark, short hair. He was last seen wearing black pants and a red hoodie with a black logo on the front.

CPS says the family and police are concerned for the two boys well-being, adding “there is nothing that indicates foul play in this case.”

“Although this case does not meet the threshold of an Amber Alert, we are working with our partners at the Missing Children’s Society of Canada to issue an alert in the hopes of locating the two boys,” reads a police release.
