Police renew appeal for help finding missing woman last seen 6 years ago

Calgary police are continuing to ask the public for help finding a woman who has been missing for nearly six years.

Police say 54-year-old Lisa was last seen in the 800 block of 1 Street SW in downtown Calgary on June 27, 2018. Investigators believe she was staying at a residence in the 1000 block of 1 Street SW before she went missing.

“There are no footprints of life following Lisa’s last known phone contact with her family, which occurred on Tuesday, July 3, 2018,” reads a Tuesday release from Calgary police. “She has not been heard from since.”

Police received tips of possible sightings in the summer of 2021, they say there were reports of Lisa collecting recyclables in Bowness, Montgomery and downtown.

She is described as 5’6″, around 130 lbs., with brown eyes, red hair, and tattoos on her shoulder with four hearts and flowers. Police believe she may now have a slimmer build than in the photos they have shared.

Police say Lisa’s family is concerned for her well-being and say it is not normal for her to have no contact with them.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Lisa or who was in contact with her anytime after Wednesday, June 27, 2018, to contact police,” reads the police release. “Any piece of information, big or small, can be helpful in locating her.”

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the CPS non-emergency line at 403-266-1234.
