Police looking for man who disappeared from NE Calgary home last week

Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who disappeared from his northeast Calgary home last week.

Calgary Police Service (CPS) says 29-year-old Hitesh was last seen leaving his home in Redstone around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9.

It is not known where he was going when he left his home, but police say he frequently visited the neighbourhood of Bridgeland.

Hitesh is described as 6’0″, approximately 175 lbs., with a slim build, brown eyes and short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black T-shirt, blue and grey Under Armour hat, black Puma backpack, black Puma shoes with white soles and a silver earring in his left ear. He was in possesion of a grey suitcase with black handles and zippers.

“All efforts to locate Hitesh have been unsuccessful,” reads a police release. “At this time, nothing indicates foul play, but family and police are concerned for his well-being.”

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
