Mounties have identified two vehicles they suspect were involving in an afternoon shooting in Airdrie on Wednesday.
RCMP say officers were called to the Windsong neighbourhood in southwest Airdrie around 1 p.m. for reports of shots fired. Residents reported gunfire coming from a vehicle.
Investigators now believe there were two vehicles involved and have releases photos of both.
The first is described as a black two door Ford F-150 with window tint on the front and rear windows, and tonneau cover. The second vehicle is described as a four-door white Audi SUV.
“Both vehicles are believed to be involved in the incident and consider the occupants of these vehicles to be armed and dangerous,” reads a release from RCMP.
Members of the public are being advised not to approach the vehicles if they see them, and instead call police or CrimeStoppers.
The investigation is ongoing.
