Police concerned for safety of missing man from Foothills County

Mounties in Okotoks are asking for help finding a man who was last seen leaving his home in the early morning hours over the weekend.

RCMP says 45-year-old Jason Coutu left his home in Foothills County around 1 a.m. Saturday and add there are concerns for his safety.

He drove away from his home in his 2021 silver GM Sierra with the Alberta licence plate AF0862. Investigators say he may have been going fishing and is known to frequent the Castle Mountain and Crawling Valley areas.

Coutu is described as having a fair complexion, blue eyes, short brown hair and a full beard. He is 6’0″ and 190 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a blue fox hoodie, a light brown jacket and army sweat pants.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact Okotoks RCMP.
