Emergency crews responded to a collision along Calgary’s Stoney Trail Sunday night involving two motorcycles.
Police tell CityNews, the two crashed into one another near the off ramp to Deerfoot Trail, and one of the drivers hit a guard rail at a high rate of speed.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m.
One driver was sent to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the collision, alcohol is not.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
