Stars from Canadian sitcom Letterkenny and Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender are set to appear at 2024’s Calgary Expo.
Letterkenny‘s Michelle Mylett, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, Tyler Johnston, and Evan Stern are making their first appearance at the expo. The show aired for 12 seasons and offered an “authentic depiction” of rural Canadian life.
Gordon Cormier and Ian Ousley, who portray Ang and Sokka respectively in the Netflix live-action adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon show, join Maria Zhang at the expo. The three are also making their first appearance.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the hottest Netflix releases of the year so far and has already been renewed for two more seasons.
Other recent celebs announced for the four-day Calgary Expo include Garret Dillahunt from Fear the Walking Dead, and John Rhys-Davies from The Lord of The Rings film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson.
They’ll join the ever-growing list of celebrity guests appearing at Stampede Park from April 25-28, which includes Elliott Page, Giancarlo Esposito, Matthew Lillard and Lou Diamond Philips.
Gina Carano, a former UFC fighter who was fired from Disney’s The Mandalorian in 2021 following a string of controversial social media posts, is also slated to appear.
Organizers say the event in 2023 was the most well-attended event since 2015, attracting nearly 100,000 fans over the four days.
Tickets can be found online, but advance ticket pricing is available until April 10.
