The schedule is out for the upcoming National Hockey League season.
The Calgary Flames kick things off on the road Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Vancouver Canucks.
Calgary’s home opener is slated for Saturday, Oct.12 against the Philadelphia Flyers.
As for the Battle of Alberta, it’ll only happen three times: Oct. 13 in Edmonton, a visit from the Oilers on Nov. 3, and a final meeting March 29 up the QE2.
The Flames’ longest homestand is in December, welcoming Tampa Bay, Florida, Boston, Ottawa, and Chicago.
Calgary’s longest road trip of the year is a six-game swing, running late February into early March with stops in Washington, Tampa Bay, Florida, Carolina, Philadelphia, and Dallas.
Action will pause in mid-February for the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.
And to promote Calgary’s schedule release in a fun way, captain Mikael Backlund’s daughter, Tillie, brought her classmates on a field trip to the Saddledome.
On the broadcasting side of things, Sportsnet and Sportsnet 960 The Fan remain your home for all Flames action. However, this upcoming season, in partnership with Amazon, Prime Video will now be the exclusive home of Monday Night Hockey Games in Canada.
