Driver intentionally struck and killed 2 dogs in rural Alberta: RCMP

Mounties east of Calgary are looking for a driver who they say intentionally ran over and killed two dogs in rural Alberta.

RCMP say the crash happened in the hamlet of Bindloss, about 100 kilometres north of Medicine Hat, around 10 a.m. on Sunday.

It is alleged a white car was travelling westbound on Railway Avenue when witnesses saw it speed up and swerve off the road to hit two white great pyrenees dogs.

Police say the car continued driving westbound on Railway Avenue with significant damage to its front end.

RCMP are asking anyone who has information on the suspect or suspect vehicle to contact their Oyen detachment at 403-664-3505, or submit tips anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
