A man has been rushed to hospital following an apparent assault in Calgary’s downtown core Friday night.
At around 8:30 p.m., EMS were called to 1 Street and 15 Avenue SW for reports of an injured person in the area.
They say a man wearing a suit was eventually found lying flat on the sidewalk with visible injuries to his face.
Bystanders in the area say they believe the man was assaulted.
EMS tells CityNews he remains in hospital in stable condition.
