Glenmore Trail has opened up between the Sarcee interchange and Crowchild in southwest Calgary after a convertible hit a crane truck Monday night.
The Calgary Fire Department Fire says that after the call was made around 9:45 p.m., crews found one person outside the vehicle and two others inside.
Battalion Chief Scott Cowan says one of the two was cut out with the jaws of life.
All three were taken to hospital.
Calgary police said the roads opened up at around 8 a.m. Tuesday after being closed for several hours.
