Calgary police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for stealing multiple purses at the a northeast Calgary hospital.
Investigators say on Friday, Nov. 1, a man went inside at office at the Peter Lougheed Centre on 26 Avenue NE and stole a purse that belonged to an employee.
A short time later, he made multiple fraudulent purchases using the victim’s debit and credit cards.
Police say the man returned to the hospital on Saturday, Nov. 23, where it’s alleged he stole a purse from a nursing station. This victim saw him stealing the purse and confronted him when he tried to leave, according to investigators.
He then dropped the purse and ran away.
The suspect is described as being in his 40s, around 5’8″ tall and 200 pounds, balding with short hair and a goatee.
