Bret Hart returns to WWE Monday Night RAW at the Saddledome

Calgary’s very own Bret “The Hitman” Hart returns to the spotlight tonight as Monday Night RAW takes over the Scotiabank Saddledome.

This will be The Hitman’s first appearance on RAW in nearly a decade.

A member of the iconic Hart Wrestling Family, Bret Hart was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2021 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. His wrestling journey began in 1978 with his father Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling. By 1986, Bret made the transition to the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), solidifying his place as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Hart’s Canadian roots were highlighted on television through the legendary Hart Family Dungeon in Calgary. The Dungeon was referenced so frequently, and integrated into storylines, that it became a symbol of Canada, positioning Hart as the country’s ultimate representative.

In addition to Hart’s appearance tonight, the Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament will conclude, and Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill will defend their titles against The Unholy Union. Meanwhile, Zelina Vega & Lyra Valkyria are bringing in a surprise Superstar to challenge the Pure Fusion Collective.

Tickets for tonight’s event are still available on Ticketmaster. Doors open at 4 PM, with the action starting at 5:30 PM. RAW can also be viewed live on Sportsnet at 6 PM MT.
