3 teens injured in St. Albert shooting: police

Police say three teenagers were taken to hospital, including one with more serious injuries, after a shooting early Monday morning in St. Albert.

Alberta RCMP say it appears one of the teens was struck by gunfire and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The other two youths sustained minor injuries and were also treated in hospital.

Police say it happened around 12:50 a.m. on Hunchak Way in the Heritage Lakes neighbourhood of St. Albert.

RCMP say the three minors were in a vehicle at the time of the reported shooting. The shots are believed to have come from a white van.

Alberta RCMP have scheduled a media availability for Monday at 4:40 p.m.
