Three people were sent to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash shut down a portion of Stoney Trail in northwest Calgary Sunday.
Two semi-trucks collided and were part of the crash that brought westbound travel to a standstill.
The crash near the Sarcee Trail turnoff happened around 2 p.m.
EMS say they took the three to hospital in non-life threatening condition.
First responders had to shut down westbound travel to give crews room to clear cars and debris.
Crews worked to clean up debris and cars while re-routing cars.
Police are still looking as to what caused the pileup.
