One person is fighting for their life in hospital and a stretch of Highway 2 is closed south of Calgary after a seriouscrash.
Emergency crews were called to Highway 2 near 338 Avenue, east of Okotoks, around 1:45 p.m. Thursday for a multi-vehicle collision.
Paramedics tell CityNews one person was airlifted to hospital via STARS air ambulance. A second person was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The southbound lanes of Highway 2 are closed at 338 Avenue for the collision clean-up and investigation.
There is no word what caused the crash.
