Calgary police arrested a man on Thursday morning at the Chinook CTrain station after a stabbing at the nearby Chinook Centre.
At 11:40 a.m., police responded to a situation at the shopping mall after reports an individual was stabbed near one of the entrances.
The victim was taken to hospital by EMS. Police did not know the extent of the injuries and said the person’s condition was not known.
The suspect, who was found at the LRT station after fleeing the scene, sustained minor injuries during the attack, according to officers.
Police said they are investigating.
