Police say the body of a man was discovered in the community of Homestead Friday evening. Suspects had fled the area before officers arrived.
Police say suspects fled area before officers arrived on scene
The Calgary police homicide unit is investigating what is believed to be a targeted shooting Friday night in the northeast community of Homestead.
Det. Jason Ip says police discovered the body of a man in the 200 block of Homestead Drive N.E. when they arrived on the scene at approximately 7:20 p.m.
Ip said suspects had fled the area before officers arrived.
He says police are collecting CCTV from the area and are urging anyone with information to call police at 403-266-1234.
