Death in northeast Calgary deemed non-criminal, police say

Calgary police say a death in northeast Calgary that was being treated as suspicious is no longer being investigated as a criminal matter.

Calgary police say a death in northeast Calgary that was being treated as suspicious is no longer being investigated as a criminal matter.

Emergency crews were called to the 100 block of Cityside Manor N.E. on Monday at about 9:40 p.m. for reports of someone in medical distress, police said in a release early Tuesday.

Police said in a later release that after further investigation, the person’s death is believed to be non-criminal and that no further information will be released.
