Layering is perhaps the most essential ingredient to outdoor adventures, allowing you to regulate your body temperature and stay comfortable in changing conditions. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer to keep sweat off your skin. Add an insulated mid-layer for warmth and top it off with a windproof and waterproof shell to protect against snow and wind. Don’t forget warm gloves, a puffy jacket, a hat, and buff to cover exposed areas.
