While every family views the spaces within their home differently, typically kitchens are more enjoyable as a group.
That could include friends or family actually cooking together, or just having that ability to socialize while one domestic chef handles meal preparation on their own.
That ability to connect in the cooking space is one of the attractive aspects of an upscale townhome in Mahogany. The Prosecco, part of Jayman Built’s Park Place development, is currently demonstrated as a show home.
It has three bedrooms, measures 1,721 square feet and boasts a two-car garage.
Positioned at the back of the main level, the kitchen is generously sized. There are features on facing walls, with one of the two sides curving at the entrance point to create an eating bar.
One side is equipped with a great deal of counter space and a sink beneath a large window. The other is side is where the appliances are concentrated, including a wall oven and fridge with french doors.
This pacing lowers the chance of people occupying the kitchen crossing paths or feeling cramped.

The aforementioned eating bar, which seats two people beneath pendant lighting, creates a place for guests to relax, chat and snack. Day to day, it can be a spot for the children of the family to sit while telling their parents about their day at school as they put the finishing touches on dinner.
The kitchen includes a door with a glass insert that steps out to a rear balcony. This is ideal for enjoying dinner on sunny spring or summer evenings.
The kitchen is part of an open-concept design that connects to a central dining area and front-facing great room.
This 15-foot two-inch by 12-foot seven inch great room receives a high volume of natural light through windows on two walls.
Use of wall paper and other elements help set the dining area apart from the rooms it neighbours.
Another segment on the main level includes both a half bathroom and the laundry area with a stacked front load washer and dryer.
Like the great room, windows are a strong point in the master bedroom, as well. People with extensive wardrobes will appreciate this bright, 10-foot 10-inch by 10-foot four-inch sleep space, because it includes a well-proportioned walk-in closet.

The master also incorporates an ensuite with a soothing soaker tub, separate shower with a glass door, and vanity with two sinks beneath a full-width mirror.
Following a hectic day at the office, it’s easy imagining the heads of the household using this as a place to unwind.
Privacy is a consideration with the secondary bedrooms placed on the opposite end of the top level. The larger of these bedrooms is 10-foot three inches by 12-foot seven inches, offering something a child can grow into.
On the lower level, its tandem-style garage is accompanied by a handy storage space. This can be used for a variety of purposes, including seasonal items such a Christmas tree or winter tires.
A focus in the design of Mahogany is its outdoor attractions, including Calgary’s largest lake, Mahogany Lake. The Park Place development is less than 10 minutes on foot to Mahogany Lake Fishing Pier.
