Calgary police searching for teen girl last seen two weeks ago

Calgary police are looking for a teenage girl who hasn’t been seen for two weeks.

Sixteen-year-old Laila was last seen on Monday, Oct. 7 around 7 p.m., outside of a convenience store in the 5300 block of 17 Avenue SE.

Police say they have exhausted all investigative avenues to find her, and are now turning to the public for help.

Investigators add it is out of character for the teen not to be in contact with her family for this long, and they are concerned for her well-being.

At this time, there is no indication foul play is involved, according to police.

Laila is six feet tall, around 210 pounds, and has black hair.

Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
