CBC Calgary celebrated a big milestone this month: the station turned 60 years old.

To mark the occasion with both the CBC Calgary audience and the broader community, an open house was held Saturday at the CBC offices on Veteran’s Place N.W.

It was an opportunity to meet CBC hosts and journalists, tour the station, take part in interactive experiences like mock broadcasts and hands-on workshops, and learn about the past and present of CBC Calgary.

Here’s a selection of photos from the event.
