Calgary police looking to talk to man who may have contacted woman before her death at SAIT residence

Calgary police are looking to talk to a man who may have had contact with a woman prior to her being found dead at a SAIT student residence.

Emergency crews were called to a residence tower in the 100 block of Dr Carpenter Circle NW around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a body being found.

Officials completed an autopsy on Thursday and identified the victim as a woman in her 20s, but the cause of death remains unknown.

SAIT has confirmed she was a student at the post-secondary institution.

Police are now looking to talk to a man who they think may have been in contact with the woman before her death.

“Investigators believe this man may have information that could assist the investigation,” reads a release from CPS.

Police have released photos of the man who is described as 5’8″ to 5’9″ tall with a medium build.

Anyone with information on his identity, or additional information about the incident, are being urged to contact police at 403-266-1234.
