Calgary police are asking the public to help find thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment stolen from a vehicle.
Investigators say on Saturday, Sept. 14 around 2 a.m., some broke into a 2020 Porsche Macan S while it was park on the street in the 4700 block of 19 Avenue NW.
Several items were taken from the SUV, including cardiac surgery equipment wort at least $28,000.
The stolen equipment is highly specialized and used mainly for minimally invasive cardiac surgeries done by just a handful of surgeons in Canada, according to police.
