A familiar face is back with the Riggers.
The Calgary Roughnecks have inked Dane Dobbie to a free-agent deal.
He spent 13 years with the organization before heading to the San Diego Seals for three seasons.
During his time with the Roughnecks, Dobbie scored 889 points in 182 games — the leading point scorer in club history.
“We are excited to have Dane back in a Roughnecks jersey,” head coach Josh Sanderson shared in a release. “Dane’s leadership qualities and compete level will help our younger players both on and off the floor, and he will make a significant impact to our offence, especially our power play unit.”
Calgary opens its training camp in early November and will kick off its season on Dec. 1st.
