Calgary police still searching for man reported missing three years ago, possible victim of foul play

Calgary police are still looking for a man who went missing from the city’s southwest three years ago.

Investigators believe David-Alexandre Beliveau may have been the victim of foul play.

Beliveau would now be 39 years old, as he was 36 when he was last seen in Shaganappi on Sept. 4, 2021.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a white emblem, a medium blue golf shirt and dark blue shorts.

Beliveau is described as 5’7″ tall, about 185 pounds, with a medium build, green eyes, bald head, and a brown beard.

He has multiple distinctive tattoos including; three monkeys on his back, a lion on his right bicep, a pair of dice on his left hand, a happy face on his right hand, the word ‘Motivation’ in capital letters on the inside of his left forearm, a number ‘7’ on his left calf, a ‘Z’ on his right elbow, and a map of Quebec with a pin on Montreal on his ribs.

Calgary police don’t typically share the last names of missing people, but as this is a historical missing persons case, an exception is being made. Beliveau was also reported missing before the new policy was implemented.

Anyone with information about his disappearance is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
