Grande Prairie RCMP seek suspect in pedestrian hit-and-run involving stolen motorcycle

A pedestrian was taken to hospital early Saturday in Grande Prairie after a hit and run involving a reportedly stolen motorbike, according to RCMP.

Mounties say a black motorcycle was moving at an extremely high rate of speed when it struck the pedestrian at around 6 a.m.

Police also say the suspect fled on foot but they haven’t released any details about how badly the pedestrian was injured.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is being asked to reach out to Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5700 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
