A Medicine Hat man is facing more than a dozen charges after being found asleep in a vehicle with a large quantity of drugs and a pen that operates like a gun.
RCMP say officers were called to a home in Redcliff after someone reported a suspicious vehicle parked on a front lawn.
Responding officers found a man passed out inside the vehicle.
Following an investigation, the man was arrested as officers searched the vehicle. Police seized a number of items during the search, including:
- 156 grams of methamphetamine
- 83 grams of cocaine
- 82 grams of fentanyl
- A .22 calibre pen gun
- Bear spray
Medicine Hat resident Justin Yuhas, 35, is facing 13 weapons and drug charges including for possessing an illegal gun.
Yuhas was held in custody and is expected to appear in a Medicine Hat courtroom on Monday.
