A woman is dead after a boat capsized on Sylvan Lake late last week.
Emergency crews were called to the lake around 5:45 p.m. Friday for reports of boaters in the water.
RCMP say nine people were pulled from the water, but a 50-year-old woman was found under the capsized boat. Crews performed lifesaving measures but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the woman and everyone else in the boat were wearing life-jackets.
The investigation is ongoing.
