An Alberta Emergency Alert has been issued for Wheatland County, 80 kilometres east of Calgary, due to two armed and “extremely dangerous” suspects.
Strathmore RCMP issued the Dangerous Person alert, saying the suspects are in the area of Highway 564 and Range Road 252.
Shelter in place immediately if you are:
- Everyone from Highway 564, north to Township Road 262, between Range Road 253 east to Range Road 251
- Close and lock doors and windows
- Do not answer your door
- Do not pick up strangers
- Call 911 if you need help or have information
