A serious crash has shut down a stretch of Highway 1A west of the city on Monday evening.
Emergency crews responded to a collision on the highway just west of Ghost Lake Village around 5:17 p.m.
STARS Air Ambulance responded to the crash, but there is no word on any injuries.
Cochrane RCMP say Highway 1A is closed in both directions as the investigate.
Detours are in place at Morley Road and near Jamison Road. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
