Colleen Klein, wife of former Alberta Premier Ralph Klein, has died. She was 83-years-old.
The couple’s daughter, Teresa Klein, posted the news to social media on Tuesday afternoon.
“Today we said goodbye and will now celebrate the 83 years of life [of] my mother Colleen Klein,” read the post.
“She passed away peacefully in the early morning after months of failing health.”
Colleen, who was born in Victoria, B.C., was a champion of many charitable causes, and received an honourary doctor of laws degree from the U of C in 2022.
She married Klein in 1972.
