Man killed in hit-in-run on Memorial Drive: Calgary police

A man has been killed in a hit-and-run in the southeast early Saturday morning, and Calgary police have closed roads in the area to investigate.

Officers tell CityNews the incident happened at around 12:20 a.m. on Memorial Drive and 47 Street.

They found an adult man dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, and no vehicles have been identified in the hit-and-run.

Officers say 44 Street to 52 Street on Memorial Drive is expected to be closed for the next couple of hours as they investigate.
